[[Edit: Deleted the picture with the yellow flower. ]]
Well, I don't have a lot to report today. I stayed up all night working on photography prices, and subsequently slept most of the day. I'm missing Dawn like crazy. I can't wait for her to be home again.
So, I do this thing when I have a big project in front of me. I put everything else aside. But if you have a job skill that you're trying to keep up, or an artistic skill, you have to keep working at it every single day. And thus I told myself a while back that I would endeavor to take a picture every single day. I haven't been true to that resolution, but I try as much as possible. And you'd be amazed what you can find just be stepping outside and poking around the yard, or walking down the street.
One of the things that really appeals to me about photography is that in a very slow and sneaky way it caused me to appreciate my surroundings more. I used to think that everyone talking pictures was missing the moment. But I was wrong. I've found and appreciated so many more moments since I started taking pictures.

Or I might have to pay someone to design a cool, blogger template for me.... (I think this one is too narrow.) Hmm!
I feel like the first flower picture is too dark. But when I bump up the exposure or brightness it seems to lose is subtlety. I'll have to sit with this one for a little while.
The "hole" in the bottom left corner of the second picture is too bad. I still like it as a personal shot though.
